OOPS! Did I Do It Again??

In spite of about falling over, I stayed up without napping so I’d sleep last night. And sleep, I did. I coughed quite a bit at first but it calmed down and I was okay after that.

Waking up early, I decided to sleep another hour before taking my morning meds. I went back to sleep and woke four hours later. I got up, took my meds and started coughing. Opening the door, I was surprised to see that Cuz was already home. I knew today was supposed to be a short day but…

She brought me a full glass of water. I told her today would be a good day for me to have the Amy’s Tofu Scramble. It was the first day I didn’t have applesauce but I didn’t have room. It wasn’t as good as I remembered so I guess I’ll have Cuz take it off the list.

Working so much has about worn Cuz out so I was glad to see she went in and took a good nap. She said she could sleep for a couple more days. I believe it.

Supper was easy. I told her to mix flour and water with the remaining chili to tone it down some. It was still spicy so I put some Earth Balance in and that smoothed it out nicely without doing away with all the heat. I ate a good-sized helping of it with a hunk of bread.

This evening, I was surprised by a visitor! It was so good to see her. It had been ‘way too long.

Cuz and the Aunt

Meet Boogie, my CIL’s favorite of the Catz and the whooper-upper of Mongo. She got a good petting before she was taken back to the garage. Cuz hopes to bring more of her siblings and her nephew down soon. She said that Boogie doesn’t like the sound of the trains going by. The tracks are probably 300 feet away from the house.

Earlier today, I was trying to watch a video clip and it wouldn’t load. I thought, “This isn’t as good as it was when I was on Liberty Pass.” That’s when I looked at the taskbar and there was an asterisk by the wireless icon. The connection had gone belly up and I’d unchecked the box to connect automatically. When I clicked on connect, everything worked as it should.

My first regular bill rolled through in my email today and it’s $20 less than I thought it would be so that’s good. It’s still 3.62 times more than I was paying for faster and, you might as well say, unlimited.

I’m wondering if the figs are history. I hope they aren’t all gone. Some things in the garden are still producing. Cuz went out and harvested today.

The weather is getting cooler. The high was “only” 83. DD is amazed at the difference between here and there. They are a lot farther north than we are, though.

Guess that’s about it for now. Both Cuz and my CIL have helped me with 4 Pics but I’m stumped again. Tomorrow’s my shower so I’ll have expert help.

    Tommie…good morning.
Your Cuz is a busy lady. Oh, I liked meeting her fravite catz.
My Baby Cat lived almost twenty years. He was a handsome orange and white.
My blood count is low, my feathers is dragging. But not low enough for an injection to boost my bone marrow…one injection is about $3,000. Insurance only pays when my B.C.is at 10. Mine is 10.4. Oh, well, it could be much worse. In fact, a lot worse.
Husband and I watched the debate. Hillary knew her facts. All DT knew was how to be rude.
We also watched last night Town Hall meeting with the President. He did a good job
    answering questions.
I’m awake way too early. Husband was restless, it woke me….
    I’m getting sleepy, good evening..

Your Baby Cat sounds like my grandcat, Pixel. DD got him as a kitten in New York. He’s orange and white, too.

Sorry about your blood count. That’s terrible that you have to get so low before insurance will cover it. And the cost is horrible. How often do you have to have it done?

Yes, Hillary knows what she’s talking about. According to the polls, her numbers are trending up while the Donald’s are going down. And he WAS rude. I saw the Town Hall was on but I didn’t watch all of it. Obama is everything DT isn’t.

Hope you have a better night tonight.

Is Black Tom on the list to come live there?

He’s on the list but he isn’t cooperating.

I take the injections when my BC reaches 10.
Meanwhile, I just keep keeping on… Praying my bone marrow does its job. It could be worse…much worse.
Baby Cat was found by my mother. Eyes not open. She couldn’t find its mother.
She kept him until she went into a retired home. He came to live with me.
    He was a special cat.
I hope Black Tom corporates, comes down the mountain.
    Have a good night.
