Earlier this evening, I had a doozy of a coughing spell. It went on and on and on and I was having a hard time catching my breath. My fingertips started turning bluish. When it had quietened down, I checked my O2 sat and it was in the low 90s. Not critical but it’s left me weak and feeling less than good.

I slept well last night and woke an hour earlier than usual.

This afternoon, the lady from home health called wanting to come out to get my “paperwork” done. She had the address out on the mountain even though I’d updated it at the clinic. Her cell phone cut out when I was trying to give her the correct one but she called my CIL’s phone back and got the right one from Cuz.

It wasn’t long before she was here. Everything she did was on a small tablet and I had to sign with my finger. That’s not the easiest thing to do.

They’ll send someone out to help me with baths. Cuz would do it but I don’t want her hurting herself when the home health person earns her living that way. I told her I need someone to give me my B12 shots weekly, too. She asked what the doctor was ordering but I told her I didn’t know. I failed to give her the order for the wheelchair so I’ll have to remember that for later.

Someone will come out after tomorrow since the clinic will be closed. I do know the doc wants lab work done and a chest x-ray if they have a portable they can bring out. Other than that, I have no idea.

Daiya PlainCuz asked me what I wanted for supper. I drew a blank. I was still pretty full from my breakfast of yogurt, toast, applesauce and cashew milk. It was the last piece of my favorite bread. She found some multi-grain bread at Kroger that might be good. I’ll try it tomorrow. ANYWAY, I finally landed on a twice-baked potato, a chop, mustard greens and yellow tomato. The twice-baked potato is scooped out and the innards mashed with Daiya cream cheese and kala namak.

This evening, I finished up the corrections for this quarter. I’d started on less12 but I’d already closed my browser. One of the text links wasn’t complete so I left it until today. It didn’t take long to finish that up and do 13m.

Every night, I try to remember to close my browser and Thunderbird. That way, data isn’t being used in updating Facebook, the news and checking for email. I figure every little bit counts. The current usage (which may not be totally up to date) is up to 27%. I watched two episodes of Masterchef this afternoon plus some shorter videos. I have them set on the lowest quality. When the DVR is hooked up, I can start recording such as Masterchef and not watch it online. I ordered some cordless headphones today and they’ll be here Tuesday.

Tomorrow is when there will be a large crowd of people coming. Cuz always has a get-together on holidays. I’ve come when I was still living on my own but, this year, I’ll be right on the front row.

I’m getting sleepy so I’ll wind this up and go to bed. Good night, all!

Tommie, are you saying you would not be able to go in for a chest x-ray, or did I misunderstand?

Your meals put me to shame! You must have a good appetite! Maybe what I need is a Cuz to fix it for me – that would make a difference, I’m sure.

I wasn’t up to doing it that day. I’m not sure I would be today. Everything wears me out. It takes energy for me to breathe.

      Cuz does fix good meals!
