After a decent night, (I’d turned the concentrator up to 3 LPM) it was a rainy morning in Tennessee. It couldn’t have been more dismal but it cleared off later and was full on sunshine and butterflies.
Today has been a terrible day for food. Nothing tastes right. I’ve even tried a couple of peppermints and they don’t taste like anything I ever had before. Googling helped a little. I’ve been off my vitamins since Friday and a deficiency is supposed to cause such but that seems like it would be awfully soon. At any rate, I’ll start back on them tomorrow and maybe that will help.
I’m so shaky, there’s no way I could shoot myself in the leg today. I figure skipping a dose won’t kill me. I would’ve asked my nurse friend to come do it but the house is in “this” shape and I wouldn’t let her inside.
Breakfast was OJ and one of the bananas. It tasted awful. I was glad they’d picked small ones because I didn’t have that much to eat.
DS1 called about the order of service. He sent me what I needed and I sent it on. I’m sure it will all go well Sabbath, if I’m up to being there. Cuz cautioned me to take George (the portable O2) along if I go anywhere but, to tell you the truth, I don’t know how to operate it. Considering the nature of pure oxygen, I don’t want to experiment, either.
I’ve been checking my O2 sat off and on all day. After I’d been to the garage to get some stuff out of the freezer, it was all over the place. It dipped as low as 69% at one point. I put the cannula back up my nose and it helped but it still didn’t get much above 90%.
As you might have guessed, edamame was one of the packages I came back to the house with. I fixed it for my supper and ate at least 2/3 if not 3/4 of the bag. It didn’t taste good but I know I need food. After that, I felt queasy so I ate a few crackers. I still don’t feel great but I didn’t, anyway.
I either did a breathing treatment before or after my meal. I checked my O2 and it climbed up to 99%, then skipped around a bit.
It’s four days until Sabbath. I’m going to have to improve a lot if I go anywhere. I couldn’t even consider driving, the way I feel. My O2 sat is currently 95-96% but that’s sitting still with oxygen going.
The news isn’t all-consuming. Cruz was hoping to un-suspend his campaign if he could win one of the states today. Trump won both. Bernie won West Virginia and has plowed into Hillary’s lead by five delegates. He’s still chippin’ away. At any rate, those two should start playing nice with each other and hone in on Trump if he’s to be beat in November. Anything else and the White House could look like something out of Atlantic City.
Well, I still have to do my nightly procedure on my teeth. It will be interesting to see where the water goes when I’m Waterpik-ing, as shaky as I am.
