Tonight’s debate is thanks to Univision and The Washington Post but it will be live streamed on CNN. It’s supposed to be streamed on The Washington Post’s site, too, but I couldn’t find where it would work on a notebook. CNN will be fine for me. It starts at 9 EST.
The deadline for publishing second quarter’s Sabbath School lessons looms so I spent hours working on them today. I still don’t have a quarterly so I don’t know if the formatting is right or not. The editor wants me to do the index and check the templates for accuracy but my eyeballs are liable to fall out of their sockets if I spend any more time trying to find mistakes.
It’s been a lovely day. I kept the front door open much of it. I’ve wanted to go out and take a picture of the daffodils in full bloom but I kept putting it off until it was too late.
After not hearing the results from the BRAVO, I called today. The nurse told me it showed “minimal” acid coming up in my esophagus. Well, DUH! After taking PPIs for so long, it’s a wonder that my stomach is producing acid at all. That doesn’t mean I don’t have reflux. That’s mechanical and it doesn’t depend on acid. I can drink water and have reflux. She said they were waiting to hear from my pulmonologist. Well, I haven’t been back to him and I really don’t want to go. I guess I’ll have to break down and make an appointment one of these days.
Being of a curious nature, I was wondering about the origin of the donkey and the elephant. I found this article that explains it. And now I’m going to get ready to watch the debate. Since Bernie won a surprise victory in Michigan, it’s sure to be a rousing one.
