Try as I might, it’s hard to put off the lessons with any amount of non-guilt. The deadline is looming for the first quarter of 2016 to be published so I buckled down and finished up the fourth quarter of 2015. THEN, I completed lesson 4 of the first quarter and did lesson 5.
When I got those done, I rewarded myself with an episode of “Inspector Morse”. I must say, it’s difficult to follow his line of reasoning but there’s something about it I like. Maybe it’s John Thaw. I don’t know. He’s been dead for going on 14 years now and Morse’s Jaguar was restored for more than £100,000. At today’s exchange rate, that’s $151,255.00. Quite a tidy sum and the current owner is insuring it will stay in the UK.
I fed the Catz this morning but kept hearing something bumping the storm door. I looked out and two of them were begging for food. If they want to eat, they’re going to have to show up at meal time. I fed them again this evening and there they were. Maybe they’ll learn.
My feet were cold last night and I warmed up my down booties in the dryer and put them on. It took forever for me to get warm. I heard the clock chime 1, 2, and 4. I don’t know what happened to 3. The hot water bottle has been put to good use today and it will go to bed with me tonight.
By the way, the Computer Owner went home last night. Her final diagnosis was migraine. She was tired (no wonder) so she didn’t work today.
Today’s high in the valley was 50 degrees. I’m sure it didn’t get anywhere near that warm here. It’s a degree and a half warmer right now than it is in the valley but that may be a fluke. I don’t like cold weather. DID YOU KNOW THAT??!
With that revelation, I’ll say good night.
