I just finished another 16 ozzies of water. It isn’t good to drink it this close to bedtime but I seem to space it out and not drink it when I should. There will be another 8 ozzies just before I fly up.
Last night was hours and hours lying awake. I don’t know why. Maybe my sleeping in for so long messed my routine up. I wasn’t too hot, anyway.
It clouded up mid-afternoon and rained just as I was going out the door to pick tomatoes. It didn’t last long so I went a little while later. Something is eating on a lot of the cherry tomatoes. A large tomato had been gnawed, too, but most of it was left. It was big enough that two slices made a sandwich so I finally had one that didn’t fall apart when I was trying to eat it. I ate a small tomato, besides. There are five regular tomatoes and a lot of cherry tomatoes waiting for tomorrow. I hope to make some gumbo. Haven’t had any for a long time. I thought I had some corn in the freezer but I guess not. It can still be gumbo without it, right?
It’s cooled off nicely. The temperature is “only” 81 here in the living room which is 10 degrees warmer than outside. Maybe the EcoBreeze will pull some of that cooler air in.
Six has another droopy ear. I googled it and it could be an injury or an infection. There’s no way to catch her to take her to the vet so she it will have to get better on its own—or not. She looks strange with both ears folded down.
Well, it’s time to try it for another night. Maybe this one will be better.
