Last night was better for sleeping until early this morning. I wasn’t restless—just half awake. That means I was half asleep. Maybe it’s the propranolol rearing its ugly head. One of the side effects can be sleeplessness. I wish I’d never started taking it but now that I am, I can’t stop cold turkey. I have to be weaned off of it. Same for Reglan.
There are pros and cons for both. If I get off Reglan, there’s a good chance I’ll have worse reflux. If I get off propranolol, my tremors will be worse. If I get off Reglan, maybe my tremors will go back to what they were before. If I get off propranolol, I won’t have diarrhea at least once or twice a day.
I got some stuff done today. I finished up lessons 11-13, ran the dishwasher, did laundry and rebounded for 13 minutes. I didn’t do the home health exercises, though. I’m not sure that doing exercises that don’t push me to my limits are doing any good, anyway. I have three times as many steps on my pedometer today than usual. Oh, and I took a bath.
With all the rain that’s been falling, I could’ve had a shower with no problem. It’s really pounded down at times. The little flop-eared cat showed up damp but not drenched. I have an idea it is an addition and not one of the Catz. I can’t tell them all apart but when there are three striped ones and one isn’t skittish, it makes me wonder. I’m sure it isn’t Six. I’ve about talked myself into thinking this is one that’s been dropped. It eats right along with the rest of them, anyway.
When I was having my last meal of the day, there was an ant crawling on my bread. I picked the slice up and banged it on the plate trying to knock the ant off. It had too good a hold and went down into a crevice. There was no way I was going to become an anteater at this late date so I put it in the compost bucket and got another slice. Now the ant is in Ant Paradise. Not only does it have bread but all those other yummy scraps to gnaw on.
The graduation fiasco has been bugging me so I set about trying to find out if it will be available anywhere online. The first place I contacted gave me the link to contact the people who were responsible for streaming it. Seems they will be making DVDs for the graduates but the man didn’t know if it would be uploaded anywhere. He did agree that there was a problem with the server. He had two graduates (twins?) and family hoping to watch the live stream so he and his were affected, too.
It’s all dark outside and is getting on toward bedtime so I’d best call it a day and get ready for bed.
