Almost. I’m yawnin’ and a’gapin’. It will be bedtime soon.
Today was PFT day. I do hate to do that test and, yes, I said hate. When it’s scheduled, I dread it. When my name is called, I would like to go the other way.
Cuz had an appointment this morning and mine was almost late afternoon. Well, it was at 2:30 TT but that was 3:30 that wretched Daylight “Saving” Time.
Today, the Construction Partner decided we needed a bodyguard. Cuz still drove, I rode “shotgun” and CP sat in the back. At one point, I threatened to change places with him so they could argue straight across and not over me.
We got to the hospital a little early and weren’t in the waiting room long when I was called back. I weathered the test and was back out in a little over half an hour. CP had waited downstairs (we were on the 12th floor) and was surprised we were through that soon. I hope I’ll hear something tomorrow to let me know whether or not my lung capacity has decreased.
From there, we went to the bakery where I got enough bread to do me through the youngsters’ visit. Cuz got her customary one loaf of Chattanooga Sourdough.
The next stop was the Olive Garden where we filled up our personal tanks. I had the only thing on the menu that I can eat–minestrone with the customary salad and breadsticks.
Backtracking just a bit, we went to ALDI. CP elected to wait in the van. He seconded the motion that I should try it without O2. It must’ve been EBT card day. The place was just about cleaned out. I got ‘way less than I’d planned and we left.
It was too late to go to get my hair cut so we went on to Lowe’s and got a few things that Cuz figured I needed. She wants me to plant some boxes I have so I got some basil, lavender, slow bolt cilantro seed and burpless cucumber seed. She aims for me to get exercise going out to water the plants. There’s method in her madness though sometimes there’s madness in her method.
When we stopped at Save A Lot, we had role reversal and sent the man in to get what was needed and we stayed in the van.
The sky coming in was gorgeous. It had obviously rained but we didn’t experience any where we were.
When we got to the house, I found that the O2 tank is much easier to carry if I don’t have the cannula on. Figure that one out. I should’ve taken it off to eat my meal. It would’ve been much more pleasant.
Cuz brought my stuff in, helped me put it away and went home. I checked to see if I had voice mail from Home Health but I didn’t. I don’t know whether I’ll have therapy this week or not. OR if I’ll have to fend for myself, shot-wise.
It’s almost 9 TT and I feel like I need to hit the hay soon. Tomorrow is another day.
