It’s been almost two weeks since we’ve had any measurable rainfall. When I looked out before going to bed, it had started but not in earnest. This morning, it was falling softly and it wasn’t long before the fog came in. It was perfect for sleeping and I put it to good use after I took the dreaded Flagyl and lay back down. It was still dark enough that Twinkle didn’t mind.
I’ve worked on the second lesson off and on today but it’s hard to get my rhythm going. It involves a lot of copying and pasting, switching from KompoZer to Chrome and back again. It isn’t hard work but repetitive and I can’t do it if I’m not feeling up to par. Well, I’ll take that back. I can do it but not as quickly or as well.
Along about 2 p.m. TT, DD called. I don’t know how long we talked. She hadn’t had breakfast yet so I can’t say it would break any records, anyway.
A bit later, I looked out and saw my cousin was home. She came over and we visited for a bit. Her housesitter will be coming back for a couple of weeks and should be here Tuesday.
I peeled, cooked and mashed all of the potatoes I owned. I miss the good Kennebecs. These are just plain old Idaho potatoes and they don’t have the flavor or texture of the others.
Twinkle’s appetite has picked back up again. Maybe I should write about it more often.
Not much exciting going on. Tomorrow morning, I’ll take my last dose of Flagyl. Now, that’s something to write home about.
