Last night, I lost Twinkle. It was late, anyway, and I didn’t really go to sleep for a couple of hours after I went to bed because I was wondering where Twinkle was. Maybe she had crawled into a secret place and died. Or maybe she was shut up somewhere by accident. About 2 a.m., I got up and came into the living room. There she was, sitting on her favorite nighttime chair looking at me like, “So, what are YOU doing up at this hour?”

She had caught a mouse one morning last week. I failed to report that. It was a very young one—probably half grown. That makes me wonder if it has siblings in the house.

Even though I didn’t sleep much, I was still wide awake at about 6 TT. A bit later but before it heated up, I heard the lawn mower and there was my cousin cruising around the yard. She finished it off by weedeating.

I visited with two of my three offspring today. DS1 twice and DD once. DD and I made up with length vs number. Our call lasted over an hour and a half.

After all the back and forth and neck & neck scores, Genese won the last Wordscraper game.

Genese won!

It really was down to the wire.

The aud let me know that “covers” in the color I like came in Friday. She’s going to try putting them on the hearing aids I’ve been test-driving. When I go in, I’ll have to remember to take my camera and record the surgery.

Really and truly, I can hardly hold my eyes open. I’ve taken care of the necessities and I think I’m going to call it a night.

Wondering if all those words in the game are in the dictionary. Not mine, I’m thinking.

It won’t allow a word if it isn’t valid. We play the UK version because it does have more words available than the US. Whether or not they’re in your dictionary depends on how old it is, too.
