To say the least, it’s been unsettling for my credit card to be maxed out and more. I’ve had it since 2004 and never even came close. One of the first things I did was to go to the web site and check my balance. It wasn’t in the red any more! Praise the Lord!
There was rain this morning but it didn’t last long. The sun came out by and by so I walked to the mailbox and the only thing in it was a publication from the church. That’s fine. I’ve stopped almost all of the “other” mail I don’t want or need.
The rain gauge had 1.75″ in it. While I was checking it, I heard some bumping sounds from the garage. I figured the kittens were in there. My CIL drove up and verified that the noise was, in fact, the kittens. He had a couple of cans in his hand. I very pointedly looked at them. He showed me they were Little Friskies cat food. Shrugging, he said, “They have to eat.” I asked if he’d named them yet. No, but my cousin may have. She calls the black one “Blackie”. He would have named it something else.
I ate a few strawberries before I came back to the house. The rain has made them prone to rotting. Sad. I’ll have to thin them out before next spring.
Twinkle was piled up on my bed, as usual. She does love to be there. I’ll have to admit it’s comfortable.
I’ve turned off the clicking sound on the camera but I was trying the zoom and it disturbed her sleep as you can tell by the LOOK she gave me.
The lessons have taken up a lot of my day. I haven’t been as frazzled because I sort of know what I’m doing. The target to get them done by the end of May is long past. I’m through with the first five, myself. Unless I’ve done something truly terrible, I think they’ll pass.
My aids haven’t hurt my ears as much today. The audiologist wants me to “pop in” the next time I’m in town so she can take a look at them. I hope she can do something to make them as comfortable as the others.
I’m sleepy. Earlier, there was a severe thunderstorm warning until something like 11pm TT but it’s a watch now. Guess the cool air has helped whatever was out there to dissipate.
