I’m sure I dreamed something. I usually do. They weren’t noteworthy, in any case. I got to bed earlier–11:15. That was an accomplishment.
It was a little after 6 when I got up. I didn’t have time for all my exercise routine but I did my BodyFlex and part of the LSEs.
26 ozzies grapefruit juice
30 ozzies banana/pear/half a bag of spring mix/squirt of agave/splash of ACV smoothie (not bad at all!)
30 ozzies banana/mango/spinach smoothie (spinach was from the CSA and made it a brilliant green color that tasted good, too)
1 pickling cucumber
A young coconut (I ate it all)
Almost three quarts of watermelon (another decent one)
2 tomato/untold number of mango/couple of tablespoons chopped red onion/fresh picked cilantro (two kinds), squirt of agave nectar Fred’s Mom’s Salad
Yesterday, I had a pear, two Campari tomatoes, and strawberries I failed to list.
My weight is creeping up and I don’t think it’s just fluid from eating salt. I think playing with the dosage of my thyroid medication might have triggered it. I don’t remember what I weighed this morning but it was over 120. Well over 120. I’ll make a note of whatever I weigh tomorrow and record it in the next installment.
That next installment may be later than usual. I’m going to walk for Relay for Life for awhile before sundown. I’ve told the organizer I’ll stay until 7:15 CDT. It starts at 6:15 so I’ll get in maybe three 15 minute sets.
I’m getting ahead of myself. The weather was beautiful today, the area was fully staffed, and I got out and walked 15 minutes this morning, 15 minutes this afternoon, and ate lunch outside.
There was a mock Joint Commission survey going on but no one came to Registration. One of the registrars was on her way to the ED when she was pulled in for the exit conference. She let them know she couldn’t stay and went on.
One of the women from another department found out how old I am today and said I look GOOD. That was nice to hear. Guess I look good for an old woman. An old woman who eats raw food.
I called one of the ladies from the church and told her about the CSA. I’d e-mailed her about it when my daughter sent me the link but she hasn’t had the computer on. I faxed her the price list and she’s going to get in touch with the Farmer Lady.
A late Mother’s Day card from my daughter and SIL was in the mailbox this afternoon. It was neat. I left it in the car so I can show it to the girls at work.
I wanted to have a salad when I got home. The time got away from me and I didn’t. I sampled the organic romaine from the CSA and it’s pretty strong-tasting. The hot weather has probably gotten to it. I’ll use it in smoothies but I’ll buy some commercial for salad. I have some left in the fridge I can probably use. It isn’t super tender but I can use the tender parts. I’ve been wanting some iceberg, too. I don’t know why since I don’t usually care for it a whole lot.
Twinkle is hinting around for some food. I’d better get off here, feed her, and get ready for bed.
Good night, everyone!
