I have been e-mailed about the Raw Food Lifestyle

among other things. Two of my sisters took issue with my saying that what I’m doing is not a diet but a lifestyle. The third wanted to let me know she’d found a site that might make me think twice about writing re: Wally World. When I went to it, it was a gay porn site. Now, I thought most anyone would know that Wally World is Wal*Mart. And, if you google Wally World, Wal*Mart is the first result that comes up.

I got up an hour early this morning but not on purpose. When I looked at the clock, I read it as being later than it was and didn’t realize my mistake until I was getting ready to exercise. Since I felt fine, I stayed up and did all of my exercises and even held my pushup for a full minute. I collapsed after that but I did it!

Food for the day:

28 ozzies grapefruit juice
40 ozzies banana/romaine smoothie (it started out at 40 ozzies–I had to keep adding water to it because I’d made it so thick with greens that it set like pudding)
24 ozzies banana/spinach smoothie
2 little yellow mangos, chunked up
2 small pickling cucumbers
2 kiwifruit
A young coconut (I froze half the meat)
20 ozzies OJ
Veggie and mung bean kim chee
Three tomatoes, cut up, with a little Cajun seasoning and some sea salt
A little yellow mango, chunked

The breakfast smoothie was so green it pretty much did me for the day and I didn’t even want to think about having a salad.

I made an emergency trip to the post office this afternoon. It had rained all day and that was my first time outside.

I’d read last night until almost 10:15 and my getting up early has made me extra sleepy. So…without further ado, I will bid one and all a fond good night and sweet dreams.

Wally World. Who knew? Some people can turn any conversation pornographic. Of course I knew you meant Wal-Mart. Please don’t edit your creative writing style. I enjoy it very much. I’m curious to know what could possibly be the issue with calling raw foods a lifestyle not a diet. When I hear raw lifestyle I think it’s about making a variety of choices that benefit our own health and the health of the planet.

Believe me, I’ve never caved before and I’m not going to now. My sisters are used to my being the “odd one out”. Guess I’ve always marched to a different beat to a certain extent.

I’m sure my 80+ year old sister didn’t intend to find a porn site. She thought she was being helpful pointing it out to me. Porn sites are a dime a dozen but I choose not to go to them. If I wanted to, I wouldn’t have time but I don’t want to.

Glad you got your totes and that they met your expectations!
