Boy oh boy! It has rained off and on all day today! It’s been nice since we need it badly.

Exercising had to be cut to 30 minutes this morning so I didn’t get everything in.

Breakfast was a smoothie of bananas, strawberries, and what spinach I could salvage which wasn’t much. It didn’t keep too well but it was kind of wet when I bought it.

I did a couple of turns around the buildings between thundershowers. I remembered my Micro today so I finished listening to the teleconference on EFT.

My snack was three large kiwifruit. Lunch was a banana/mango/romaine smoothie. The mango was a little on the tasteless side so it didn’t really stand out.

There were a couple more turns ’round the buildings and I started listening to Frederic’s Q&A about the menus. It was thundering off in the distance but it waited for me to get back inside before it started raining.

I stopped on the way home to get some cilantro but it was pretty sorry so I left it there. I went to the veggie stand out here on the mountain and got three different kinds of tomatoes–Rutgers, yellow, and grape.

Supper was yet a different recipe for gazpacho. It was good but I think I like the original one the best. The salad course was supposed to be greens with a blueberry dressing. I made it about halfway through but I couldn’t take any more of the dressing so I pitched it. The combination was strange and it was ‘way too tart for my taste. It had blueberries and avocado. I hate it that I wasted either one. The avocado was a particularly nice one, too.

I took the compost out and ate some figs off the tree. They don’t have much flavor this year. I’m wondering if I could fertilize them or something and improve them. I know it wouldn’t do anything for them this season but maybe next?

The dehydrated mango is very tasty. I cut it about 1/4 inch thick so it dried very thin. I’ll have to take some to work tomorrow to share.

I need to go brush my teeth and get some things done, forum-wise.

Good night!

I hate when a salad dressing doesn’t turn out well. When ever that occurs I’ve started just throwing in handful of raisins in the salad. It usually brightens the taste up enough for me to finish.

In this case, the avo and raisins would have been a bad combo but thanks for the tip!
