I have the bulletin all done except for the sermon title which wasn’t included in the information I was sent. I made one up but I’ve e-mailed and left voice mail so, hopefully “The Mystery” won’t have to suffice.
Yesterday was wild! I got up in time to do my vision therapy and most of my exercises.
I didn’t have the ingredients I needed for the fruit salad that was on the breakfast menu so I switched today with yesterday. The breakfast shake called for fresh AND frozen bananas but I don’t like cold that early in the morning so I used all fresh.
Mid-morning, I got out and walked around the building a couple of times. My walking buddy opted out because she said it was too hot. I thought it was comfortable but I’d hate being the cause of her heat-stroke.
Lunch was a smoothie of bananas and romaine. I think. I had some nectarines, too, best I can remember.
I left early and went to the Asian market and bombed out totally. They get their fresh produce in on Thursdays and she had nothing whatsoever I needed. I was going, primarily, to shop at the organic market but the Asian market is on the way.
There wasn’t as good a selection as when I was there before but I got what I could and headed to a supermarket that was on my way back. I found some really tasty mangos and got all they had that were decent. When I went through line, the older man who was working as cashier got a little flirty. It was kind of flattering and it gave all of us at work some good laughs.
I’d gotten some bananas at the supermarket and ate one on the way to Aldi’s. There, I was able to get some zucchini and strawberries at a reasonable price. They had closed by the time I got out so I just squeaked in.
It was on to Wally World to get the commode innards that I’ve been putting off getting forever. And then it was home, James, and don’t spare the horses. I didn’t stop by the cemetery and it made me feel bad.
The sun was low in the sky when I got home. By the time I got unloaded and everything was put away, I didn’t want to make and eat the salad that was on the menu so I had a two quart mixing bowl full of WATERMELON!
It was past 11:30 when I was finally able to get to bed and I woke in the night (at least it was still night) with leg cramps. It occurred to me that, since I’m not eating as much on this program, I might not be getting enough water from my food so I got up and drank 12 ozzies and went back to bed. I was able to sleep the rest of the night without cramps disturbing me again.
Since it was late to bed, it was late getting up and my exercise time was cut to 20 minutes. I was able to do BodyFlex and some of the Lightning Speed Exercises.
I had the ingredients for the fruit salad, except the kiwifruit weren’t ripe enough. I used navel oranges, pineapple, mango, pear, and a sauce of OJ, dates, and fresh ginger. I got too much of the last and it was too spicy. I had to take it to work with me. I managed half of it to begin with and finished the rest of it mid-morning.
My walking buddy came looking for me but it started to rain just as we got outside.
Lunch was a banana/pear/romaine smoothie.
When I got home, I had some plums (okay but nothing special) and then I had my tomato soup–tomatoes, red sweet pepper, celery, and lime juice. It made a quart and I ate it ALL! I miss my tomatoes and watermelon.
I need to feed Twinkle and do my evening routine and then hit the hay. ‘Night, y’all!
