I’m not tired but I’m so sleepy that I’m about to fall off the chair. This will be short and sweet. I need to get to bed.
Got up a little later than the alarm and exercised. I fixed veggies and dip for a shower that was this evening. (I didn’t go since tonight is Bulletin Night.)
Breakfast was OJ and a banana/pear/romaine smoothie. I managed to go out for 15 minutes of sun. I had cantaloupe for my snack.
Twinkle’s food from Only Natural Pet Store came today. I had lucked up and didn’t have to pay shipping and it came UPS Second Day Air! I haven’t opened the box yet. I haven’t had time. It will be okay until tomorrow. It doesn’t usually get here until Fridays and they ship raw food on Tuesdays.
Lunch was a banana/mango/spinach smoothie, cucumber, and “chili”.
I didn’t get a chance to get out in the sun before it was time to leave. The mail person had an emergency so I had the post office run.
I was supposed to meet someone at the school so I could leave my gift and food contribution but there was no evidence of anyone being around when I got there. I walked some and was on my way to the back of the building when one of the girls who had gone to school with my daughter drove up. We wondered what was holding things up. She went to take care of her son and I lay down on the grass to wait. After probably 20 minutes, I got my things and gave them to her and took my leave. She flagged me down and said the person we were supposed to meet had been inside all the time. I’d done what I needed to so I came on home.
It took some doing to get the car unloaded but I was successful. I had about half as much watermelon as usual followed by a banana/romaine smoothie and tomatoes/Tajin.
The little prairie dog alerted me that I had e-mail. Turns out one of my favorite people in the whole wide world has prostate cancer. I’ll be putting the Lord on overtime for him. He’s electing to go the radiation route. The hospital has the targeted type and it has a good success rate. He said, “I tend to look at it as a passing annoyance but am slowly beginning to realize it could be serious.” Well, YES!
The bulletin is all done and printed and I need to get to bed. Good night!
