I’ve changed the title of my blog to something a little more indicative of where I am. I am still transitioning but “Transitioning to Raw Food” makes it sound like I’m still eating cooked and that’s not true. Except for the one transgression awhile back, I’ve been eating fresh, uncooked, raw for almost 10 months.

I got up later than usual and took my time getting ready to go to church. It’s nice to have a day that I’m actually going somewhere and not have to hurry. I had a breakfast of OJ, some pineapple, and a banana/romaine smoothie. I cut down on the OJ since I had to play the organ and I didn’t want to keep the aisle hot going to the bathroom.

The pastor’s wife ended up having the service. I feel rebuked, badmouthing them for not getting the bulletin info to me. They had tried to line up three different speakers for today and didn’t find out until 9 o’clock last night that the one they thought was going to do it wasn’t. She gave an inspiring talk. She’s very much at ease up front. Maybe she should go into the ministry, too.

When I got home, I had a banana/spinach/pear smoothie. After I’d guzzled it, I got ready and went out to sun for half an hour. I christened the lounge and it’s much more comfortable than the concrete. The temperature was almost too hot to be comfortable but I made it. It was raining for the fourth day in a row when I got up this morning but it cleared off (obviously).

I came in and changed into something more modest and had some watermelon. After that, I fixed some tomatoes with Tajin. Then I had a pear. They’re pretty good–red Bartletts. Oh, I had a couple of Campari tomatoes in there somewhere. I mixed up a salad and while it marinated I ate a large mango. Then it was time for my last meal of the day. Romaine, tomato, cucumber, purple onion, avocado, dressed with lime juice, EVOO (my Sabbath treat), sea salt, onion powder, and garlic powder. It was good except the romaine wasn’t as sweet as what I’ve been having.

It’s getting close to bedtime so I’ll close this and get ready.

Good night and sweet dreams!
