I did my vision therapy this morning as planned. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/romaine smoothie.
I spent less than 10 minutes in the sun before lunch. It was a little on the cool side and a light wind was blowing.
I was in the case manager’s office when the ER supervisor came in and announced that she felt puke-y. The case manager informed her that she had had diarrhea this morning. They had eaten lunch from the same restaurant yesterday but I don’t know that it had anything to do with their puniness. Is that a word? We were talking about who knows what and the subject of smelly poop came up. The supervisor said that all poop smells, anyway. I said mine doesn’t. She snorted and walked out. I wasn’t kidding and the case manager said that it’s probably because I don’t ingest food laden with toxins. That might be part of it but the big thing is that it is easily digested and doesn’t stay in my gut long enough to putrefy.
My mid-morning orange was eaten inside. Lunch was a large banana/spinach/celery smoothie, celery, and a chunked up tomato. The last wasn’t nearly as good as the Camparis. One of the nurses informed me that other people talk about me behind my back but she would say it to my face. She said that she is concerned that I will have trouble with my bowels. I asked her if that’s because I eat what I’m supposed to. She said that I don’t eat cooked and that isn’t good. When I asked her why, she couldn’t give me an answer. The case manager said that we’d already discussed my bowel habits and that I’m normal. Whatever that is. I don’t know if people are afraid that I will get too many vitamins and minerals or what. I think that some of them are disappointed that I’ve only gotten slimmer and stronger. If I fell over in a dead faint, their views would be validated and that would probably please them.
The afternoon was warmer than the morning so I got a good 15 minutes in. I almost drifted off to sleep again.
After work, I stopped at the store and got over nine lubs of bananas and a couple of mangos. My bill came to $2.48, including tax. I wish TN would do away with food tax. It’s an idea that’s bounced around but it’s never taken hold.
When I got home, I had a huge chunk of watermelon, then three large tomatoes, chopped, with Tajin. Later, I had a large salad of romaine, cucumber, tomato, and too many hemp seeds. They are tasty but they are also rich.
I did the Dreaded Deed tonight and downloaded TaxAct. My income tax is filled out, printed, and filed electronically. Whee! I don’t have to think about that until next year. The next step will be to sign Form 8453-OL and mail it, then wait for my refund to be deposited in my bank account.
It’s more than an hour past my bedtime so I think I’ll quit this and fly up.
