I got up shortly after the alarm went off this morning. Twinkle slept on my bed again and behaved herself. I wouldn’t have known she was there but for the fact that my feet were warmer. She didn’t sleep on them but I could put them close to her and feel the heat.

I did all my exercises. Breakfast was OJ and a banana/blueberry/peach smoothie which I had to finish on my way to work.

When I was going down the mountain, I met the salt truck coming up. So far, the snow hasn’t materialized (so what else is new?).

Break was half a mango. I am really impressed with these. They are organic and very good. Not quite as good as a summer mango but still outstanding.

For lunch, I had bananas, kiwi (two), and half a large cucumber.

I stopped on the way home and got some spinach. I’d used the rest of the organic spinach yesterday so I hadn’t had my green smoothie yet. I went to the roadside stand and got oranges, strawberries, and green Vidalia onions. When I got home, I pulled into the yard (life on the edge) to unload. Once I got everything out of the car, I pulled it back up to the driveway and didn’t almost get stuck this time!

I added spinach to my OJ/strawberry smoothie and then had the other half mango. I wasn’t in the mood for anything else so that’s been it today.

You know, I’m a lucky person. My family is very supportive, for the most part, of my way of eating. No one counsels me to go back to cooked. Maybe they know it wouldn’t do any good. I was just reminded that this is my 62nd birthday eve. I feel better now than I did when I was half my age. As a matter of fact, I just about lost it when I was 31. I was a basket case, thinking that my life was all but over. And here I am, 31 years later. Wonder if I’ll be here in another 31 years? It’s possible. My mother made it past 100.

I’ve been downloading the teleseminar with Frederic Patenaude and Victoria Boutenko. I could listen to it online if I had broadband but dialup is too slow.

I need to put in some more time on the house and then it’s to bed! Good night in advance!
