Brace yourselves! I actually got the pictures from last Sunday cropped and resized and they’re right here, right now!
Last night, I got to bed a couple minutes after 10 but it was close enough to qualify as on time. I was awakened by thunder so I got up and unplugged the phone line that goes to the computer, went back to bed and promptly went back to sleep. I don’t know how long I’d been that way but I was awakened again by a lightning strike that was pretty close. I don’t know what it hit but it was closely followed by a clap of thunder. I snuggled down again and the next thunderclap was so loud that it shook the house and my eyes flew open. After that, it settled down and I went back to sleep yet again. Since I didn’t have to be at church as early as I do to work, I slept past the alarm.
Breakfast was OJ (not as much as usual) and a banana/blueberry/peach smoothie.
I got to church on time after having a little touch ‘n go backing out of the yard. I’d parked next to the house and what with all the rain last night, the ground was very soft. I came uncomfortably close to getting stuck.
When I got home, I had some more OJ, then a banana/peach/spinach/agave nectar smoothie. Later, I had a kiwi, then a large mango. After that, I had an OJ/strawberry smoothie and it was almost more than I could handle. I was miserably full for a little while but by suppertime I was ready for my salad of romaine, tomatoes, slivered onion, cucumber, fennel fronds, and the rest of the cashew mayo. I don’t know if I’ll get everything logged on fitday tonight. We’ll see.
