I got my Benriner Cook Help spiral slicer today. I planned to come home and try it out but I was later getting here than I’d planned. I did get my produce from the organic co-op and I’ll have a chance to “play” another time.
I got up and exercised everything then had breakfast of OJ, a Clementine, and a banana/blueberry smoothie. Break was five medjools. Lunch was bananas and dates.
Since I hadn’t gone prepared, I got a couple of bananas and a little box of raisins out of a fruit basket that was in the break room. They helped me make it until I could get home and eat again.
After I’d gone to the appointed place and got my organic produce (and the basil smells wonderful!) I came home and had some grapefruit juice, a bowl of tomatoes, and an avocado with half a sheet of nori and a few drops of Bragg’s (not optimal).
I’m supposed to take food for a Christmas dinner tomorrow. I think I’ll pick up a pineapple tomorrow and let that be it. I don’t want to have to stay up any later to fix something.
Better get to bed!
I had a spiral slicer. I am not sure what happened to it. I think my daughter put her hands on it. I love nori. I have used it to make avocado wraps. I think I have the recipe somewhere. I jsut tossed ingredients together. I love experiementing. It was delicious!
I am not much of a sweet eater but I love dates! I have a Christmas dinner to attend this Sunday. I am going to make a raw dessert.
