My deariss, my darleeng, to-maw-row is near…It’s al-most to-maw-row but what can I dooo? I must blog here every day. That much is too troooooo!

So, here goes. I got up at about 6:30. I didn’t intend to exercise anything since I had to be at the church on time even if no one else was.

Breakfast was OJ and a banana/blueberry smoothie. I didn’t take anything for a snack because it would have been impossible to eat it.

Church was good, as usual. The pastor always has an inspiring message and this one was a fresh twist on the birth of Jesus.

After the service, a woman I’ve known most of my life stopped me and said, “You’re losing weight!” I said yes. She wanted to know how so I told her that it was a side effect of the way I’m eating. I let her know that I’m eating only raw food and that I eat more than I ever have before and still lose. Her eyes sort of glazed over when I told her what I eat. People are willing to take all sorts of medication and have surgeries and be hospitalized to get “better” but they aren’t willing to change the way they eat. It truly is an addiction.

When I got home, I cut one of the cherimoyas. It was a little too ripe but I ate half and threw the other half away. Then I had a white sapote. Awhile later, I had some pineapple and a Clementine. I put some raisins to soak and had some “oatmeal” with four bananas when the raisins had plumped up. THEN, I had some half-frozen durian.

Some time after that, I had a bowl of tomatoes. Then I had some “mashed potatoes” and mushroom gravy. The “potatoes” were better this time because I didn’t put fresh garlic in them. I think that’s what made them have such a “bite” before.

I didn’t have any room to have a salad after that.

Monk and I had our Saturday night “date”, then I watched the rest of “The Sound of Music” and it’s LATE.

Roger has made me a moderator on the forum. I’ve moved some posts around and split a couple of the topics. I think it will be interesting to be involved that way.

Better get to bed!

I agree food is addictive. I had to chuckle when you said her eyes glazed over. I have seen that expression before when I tell people how I eat.

How did you make the ‘mashed potatoes’?

The “mashed potatoes” aren’t great but maybe you could work on them and make them taste good and let me know what you did. It’s cauliflower, cashews, garlic powder, and sea salt thrown into the food processor together and processed until smooth.
