I almost can’t believe it myself!
I’m munching on romaine and avocado while I write this. The romaine I have been getting is kind of tough. I guess it’s winter romaine and I don’t like it nearly as much as summertime romaine. I wasn’t really “into” it until I started eating uncooked food and it’s become a staple.
It was a little later than it should have been when I got up this morning. I didn’t BodyFlex but I did everything else.
Breakfast was OJ, a pear, and a banana/blueberry smoothie.
I was going out to eat for lunch so, for insurance, I had three bananas and five medjools. At the restaurant, they fixed me a fruit bowl. It was a banana, a kiwi, and two different kinds of grapes. After my other meal, it was just enough. The others enjoyed their soups, salads, and sandwiches. I was glad they did.
When I got back to work, computer problems awaited me. I took care of what I could and left the printer printing that had had 56 print jobs waiting. The computer challenged people didn’t realize that every time they asked it to print, it went into the queue. There were print jobs from December 8! It wouldn’t let me have access to delete them so they just had to print. I was using the same paper over and over but there was nothing I could do to save ink.
I ran by the grocery store and got some tough romaine and came on home.
Once here, I got my cat’s raw food out of the freezer and started it thawing. I checked the white sapote and found that one was ready. It has a creamy texture and is very sweet but doesn’t have a lot of flavor. There’s another one almost ready. The cherimoya look like they’re about there, too, so I’ll try one of them in the morning. After the sapote, I juiced a couple of grapefruit and drank the juice. After that, I had a bowl of tomatoes and am still in the process of eating my salad.
I’ve finished my salad up and still haven’t put the food I’ve eaten today on fitday. I think I’ll save that for later.
Back to my cat. She really likes chicken breast and stew beef but she barely tolerates having the prepared raw food mixed in with her cat food. There have been times that she wouldn’t eat it at all and once, she fished stuff out of the garbage and covered it up. This evening, I mixed a scant teaspoon of ground lamb (poor lamb) with the Fancy Feast Beef Treat in Gravy. She sat beside it for a long time before she got up the nerve to try it. She finally did lick it a little and then she got busy and ate it all. Maybe we’re making headway.
I was truckin’ down the hall this afternoon and one of the aides said, “I wish I had your energy.” I told her, “Eat raw!” One of the nurses asked me if that was my answer to everything. I told her that it was my answer to having more energy. She said hers was to eat a Three Musketeers. To each her own.
Better get to bed. I had an e-mail from the organist that she would be gone tomorrow so it will be up to me to play or no one will.
