I got up about 8:45 and fully intended to go to church. The last two days had taken its toll. I wasn’t physically tired but I had been stressed like I hadn’t been for a long time. I was mentally wrung out and was moving slowly. Time got away from me and it was soon time to leave but I wasn’t ready. I holed up and took it easy and it’s been nice.
Breakfast was OJ, a persimmon, and a banana/blueberry smoothie. I didn’t have a single date today. Surprise!
Mashed Potatoes? I don’t think so.
I’d bought a cauliflower a few days ago to try “mashed potatoes”. I fixed them for lunch along with cashew “gravy”. I put the “potatoes” in the dehydrator to warm up a little while. At first, they were pretty tasty but a little goes a long way with the cauliflower “bite”. It wasn’t long until my stomach was kind of burning and I ended up eating the gravy and throwing out the cauliflower mixture.
A few hours later, I peeled and ate a couple of real potatoes. I sliced them up and had them with a sprinkle of sea salt.
Quite a bit later, I had some grapefruit juice, and then a bowl of tomatoes. I had put a “pizza” in the dehydrator this morning but my stomach still doesn’t feel back to normal so I put it in the fridge for tomorrow.

Tomorrow, I’ll head out to go to my granddaughter’s piano recital. It will probably work out to my advantage that I didn’t eat the pizza today.
I gave my cat a chicken/turkey medallion this morning and she didn’t like it. I mixed it with cat food and she nibbled at it. This afternoon, I gave her some stew beef which she polished off, no problem. I’m letting some cat food warm up to give her before bedtime.
