I didn’t get more than exercising, eating, and running the dishwasher done but I did get caught up with my daughter and my sister-in-law.
Breakfast was a kiwi, a persimmon, and a banana/blueberry smoothie. I had a date snack later.
I wanted to try out a recipe in the hope that I could fix it for Thanksgiving. It was Sunburgers, a mixture of nuts, carrots, celery, onion, salt, and herbs. I put it in the dehydrator for several hours.
“Lunch” was an Irish smoothie–bananas, celery, and cucumber. It was a good pick-me-up.
I had my bowl of tomatoes and then made a large (though not as large as usual) salad. I was getting low on lettuce but didn’t have a chance to go to Wal*Mart to get any more. No problem. I had one of the Sunburgers and they look better than they taste. There’s a lot of chewing involved. I did leave out one of the ingredients. It called for honey, raisins, or dates. I thought that was a little weird, plus it wouldn’t combine well with nuts. I put some of Matt’s dip on the last couple of bites and it helped but not enough. I’ll make something savory tomorrow and see what that does. Otherwise, it’s back to the drawing board.
Calories were 1526, 10% fat 8% protein.
