I got home a little after 11. I surely was glad I took my salad. The pastor’s wife had made pumpkin bread which the others snacked on and I let them have my part. It was sweet of her to do it.
We did get a lot accomplished. Now, it’s the calling phase and, hopefully, everyone will say yes. That isn’t too realistic, I know, but one can hope. “Hope springs eternal…”
We’re to meet again on Tuesday evening before prayer meeting. That will be after Joint Commission. The pastor prayed with me that it will be a success. Of course, when someone is paid to come in and find things that are wrong, they usually do.
It’s past my bedtime. I was hoping (there’s that word again) to get to bed at a reasonable hour but it’s a little late for that.
