I just received my dates from The Date People yesterday.
DEELISHUS!!!! What a treat!   Grin Grin

According to Jamie at the Date People, dates are lower glycemic than most would think. He states they are mostly comprised of invert sugars which are directly absorbed into the bloodstream and require little or no actual digestion; and have a GI of 45-54.
This info is all news - good news - to me! Smiley
