I have a La Glaciere. All I do is blend thoroughly ripe bananas (I let them get just a tad bit soft) with a dash of salt and any other flavorings I want (the mint made it super good) then put the mix in the LG. Let it run until soft-serve frozen, sprinkle in frozen blueberries. They will mix in and turn the bananas sorta purple. Scoop out into a container and put whatever you don't eat in the fridge.

The ones like I have aren't available any more. Wish they were. It's really nice. Cuisinart makes a similar ice cream maker.
