Hello and welcome. Please feel free to go to the journals section and start a journal for yourself and us. That way we can get to know you better.
Personally I do not take vitamins aside from massive infusion of Vitamins C, B, folic acid, echinachia, and others from my naturopath, when I have a shingles flare. When I am eating optimally I do not believe I need to take a man-made, probably synthetic, product to be healthy. Think about it, how do they get those nutrients into that little tiny pill? Cook the heck out of everything, distill everything, manufacture everything, whatever, but it's not "real" food no matter what it says on the label. You can't plant it and grow a vitamin.

And to take it a step further, how do I know what my body needs? 500m of vitamin C or 5,000? Same with all the other vitamins and minerals. And in what combination do I need? What about all the components that man doesn't even know about in food?
I vote for eating uncooked fruits and vegetables in a wide range of colors. Gabriel Cousens calls it "The Rainbow Green Raw Food Cuisine". He has a book by that name and it teaches me how to eat the rainbow.
Hope this doesn't freak you out, but remember, every single one of us has to make our own decisions and I'm sure there are folks on here that will chime in with their thoughts.
Take care and come back often.
