You'd have to buy at least three lubs to break even with the Amazon price which should be okay since they are well packaged and sealed. Or you could go in with several other people, buy lots and get a real deal on the shipping.

Ya, I usually buy a lot of stuff from Vitacost at once since the savings is so big there. I noticed they also carry the Methyl-B, so if one were to place a large order they get a boatload of savings even with the flat rate shipping.
They stock many natural and organic products, I've gotten Burt's Bees stuff from there as well as lotions & hair products. They have natural & organic grocery and cleaning products as well. Huge savings, even better than my local Vitamin Cottage Natural Grocers store that sells most things for less than Whole Foods.
This would be good for one with a non-raw family to take advantage of these kinds of savings, or for one who needs to shop for other purchases at the same time, etc.

I was notified the other day that my cashews I have on subscription from Amazon would be shipping unless I wanted to skip, cancel or postpone. I'd checked the price on VitaCost and found it has jumped from $8 something to $10.33 a lub plus shipping. Amazon's is $20.89 for two one lub packages, free shipping. I can go in and manipulate the order any way I want and still keep that price. Pretty nifty, I'd say. Oh, the packaging has changed but the innards are still the same.

Welcome to the forum! With all the summer fruit around, I can't remember the last time I ate any kind of nuts. That will change with cold weather coming on, though.

Where are these shipping from? They are in kilograms so I'm pretty sure they are from outside the US. I was hoping not as I love really raw cashews.

Don't know where the Navitas Naturals ship from except Amazon can get them here within two days since I have Prime. I get the discounted price because they are on subscription. The others are really pricey. Eight ozzies for $8??

Navitas say nothing about being organic. I'm skeptical of things coming from South and Central America that are not labeled organic.

There's an orange "sun" on the front of the package that says CERTIFIED ORGANIC and on the back it says Organic Raw Cashews. Several other places on the package it says organic.

colloids You know me. I'm always on the lookout for good deals and I've found a great one for really raw cashews. The least I've been able to find them for was anywhere from $12-14 a lub PLUS shipping. Well, folks, Amazon has them for $20.89 for two lubs, shipping included if you subscribe to have them shipped on a regular schedule. You pick out the interval and you can opt out any time. Check them out here. I scanned the unopened package so you can see the quality and read the back of the package (the most important information). See the front here and the back here. Notice they are REALLY RAW and CERTIFIED ORGANIC. If it doesn't open big enough to read, use your little magnifying glass clicky thing to enlarge it. Nice find. I am always looking for raw items but I'm not exactly a millionaire so sometimes I have to sacrifice and not go raw. It is always nice to find a good deal on it. That way I don't have to break the bank and I can eat the way I should.

Welcome to the forum, Wholly! I've been getting these cashews on a regular basis (even had them shipped to my DD's address when I was visiting) and the price and quality never vary. Sometimes (like now) I don't need any and skip the shipment when I'm notified it's time for another one. No problem. If I need to skip the next one, that's okay, too. Very handy.

So, if I order raw cashew online are they the same as what you are referring to as "really raw"?

If you get Navitas Naturals they are. However, they are currently out of stock on Amazon. :'(
