Anyone tried this? Shipping is awfully high so I'll have to wait until my next visit to NYC. Looks interesting...

Guess it was an assumption on my part since Pure Food and Wine is a raw restaurant. I'll do what I usually do and e-mail them.

Here's the answer I got to my question "Is it a raw product?" "Yes, it is raw, vegan and organic. Cheers. Pablo"

I just ordered this.
1/4 lub + shipping = $15 from

veganstore.com

If it is good enough I'll try to get our
co-op market to order some.

A 2 lub sampler is available from
dr-cow.com for $75 incl shipping.

Thanks, I ordered some! I'll try to also convince my co-op to carry it if it's good!

Report back. If it's good, I might spring for some, too.

I got my cheese! I haven't tried it yet, I want to enjoy it thoroughly, so I have to figure out what to eat with it. Grapes and celery mostly, I think. Always loved  the fruit/cheese combo.  Any other ideas?

If you are looking for a good combination as in proper, leave off the grapes and use the celery. I think you're probably talking about tasty, though. Roll Eyes

Probably a bit of both...grapes with cheese was always one of my favorite combos.
