The sun does make life more cheerful!

Too bad I can't share poke with you--I have lots of it at the edges of my yard. I remember when Mother, my husband, and I were on the way to Denver and stopped along the gorge so I could pick big bags of poke to take with us. After we got there two of us spent what seemed like hours washing it, but how the crowd loved it! We were afraid one brother-in-law (who had never eaten it before) would get sick because he ate so much of it. Memories!

Sounds like you got a lot done for an ailing person! I know what you mean aabout the coughing--I'm doing better and hope you are by now and will continue to do so.

I could only get one of the pictures of the flooding. Glad we're on high ground, and I'm sad about those who have lost so much from flood, tornado, or any disaster.

I wear mine all day because they are also my "headphones". I use them to listen to the Sabbath School discussion on http://www.sabbathschoolstudy.org/study/, watch videos and I can have music "piped in" while I work around the house. Otherwise, I wouldn't be as apt to.

Here's hoping I can find a place for it.

And I can't get used to wearing my simple ones! Most of the time I don't really need them, but it's good to have them at those other times.

That bookcase was a wonderful buy for her. Broyhill is good furniture. Hope you can find a place for it.
