Sorry about your kids' reaction. My mother made homemade tomato soup when I was kneehigh to a grasshopper so it wasn't terribly often we had the variety that came from a can. My tastebuds adapted to whatever was on the table, as a general rule. There weren't many foods I didn't like/wouldn't eat which became a problem in later years. Thanks, Julie. I did add some medjooled dates which I think helped. There is some subtle herbs and spices needed too. I also sneeked some Chlorella powder in, as I do with the tinned. When I make soup for the kids I'm probably best steering clear of tomato actually, then they usually like it, because they don't know what any other tinned soup is like!! The signal light is a little box with a small light bulb that sits on the organ. When the people are ready to come out on the platform, the light can be activated from the little side room where they are concealed from the congregation. The light was uninstalled when the renovation of the sanctuary was going on and it has never been put back. Now, someone has to open the door and wave at me (all visible to the rest of the attendees) to start the introit. It can be very distracting and it's disconcerting to me. Before, people thought I magically knew when to transition. :) Yes, the picture was taken on Friday.
