It isn’t that I’ve done a whole lot today. I just feel totally washed out. One of the first things I did today was shoot myself in the leg so it can’t be a lack of B12. I’ll give up trying to figure out the cause and just try to get to bed earlier tonight.
Today was supposed to be rainy but, thankfully, it wasn’t. The forecast had changed to go along with reality. I don’t see rain in the offing for the rest of this week and into next.
Since I used the last of my oranges and ate the next-to-last banana, I got ready and went to town. On the way, I heard this Morning Edition. It was quite revealing that many of the people contacted didn’t want to be interviewed.
Hampton Creek had posted yet another coupon for Just Mayo. When I open a jar, I put the one left on the shelf to the front and get another to go behind it. I was down to one in the fridge and one on the shelf. And, no, I don’t use that much but it’s nice to have if I want to whip up a spread to take to a potgut dinner.
As you can see, it has all the required elements for a usable coupon. Some of the Facebook users yelled because it’s supposed to be used at Walmart. That was okay with me. That’s where I shop. It looks like a reasonable size in the picture, right? Well, when printed, it covered the whole page. Thank goodness, I selected the output to be in black and white.
For a wonder, the only person I saw who I knew was my favorite produce woman. At my request, she checked the back to see if there were any English cucumbers (ALDI had them for 69 cents) but they were out. I went ahead and gathered up the rest of my things and went to check out.
When I handed the coupon to the cashier, her eyes popped. I told her the company had just recently started offering coupons and didn’t quite have them down yet. It still worked and I got $1 off my jar of Just Mayo.
It was home and unloading time. I put the cold stuff in the fridge and sat down. After I’d had 16 ozzies of water, I got up and put things away. The oranges I’d price matched for $1.79 for a four lub bag had four oranges I figured I needed to use right away (I got three bags). The cashier had put my bananas on top (woohoo!!). I’d only bought three avocados because some dimwit had popped the stems out of several beautiful ones.
There was one of the two cucumbers I got last week still in the fridge so I had part of it with Campari tomatoes before I had my soup. Then I had some chocolate and that was my meal.
Oh! I almost forgot. I’m trying to remember to eat at least a couple of cloves of black garlic every day. Today, I had three.
I don’t dare do a breathing treatment before I blog or do anything else that requires a halfway steady hand. Since I’ve been wheezing (pollen?), I need to go ahead and do one so I’ll shut this down for tonight.
