I’ve been trying to use my O2 more but my ears hurt so from the cannula, it’s hard. Last night, I prayed that I would find my O2 Ear Buddies and walked over to the place I knew I’d put them. I’d checked it at least a dozen times, if not more. This time, I put my hand toward the back of the base of the Welsh dresser as I had on so many occasions. However, I touched a little plastic bag. I pulled it out into the light and it was — my O2 Ear Buddies! I went to the bathroom where I keep my headband and brought one out.
This morning, I slid the Buddies on to the headband. It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done but I did it. I put the headband on and strung the cannula over it. It isn’t beautiful and it adds nothing to my attractiveness but they work! I’ve worn the O2 most of the day and my ears are pain free! Praise the Lord!
Cuz came and bolted the bowls to the railing. There will be no more scrambling for them in the flower bed or bringing them back from the yard. Even a possum won’t be able to knock them off.
She was able to sit down for a good visit. She’s hoping to make it back soon to work on the water situation at her house.
DD called for an almost hour talk. She clued me in on a couple of good food shows on Netflix. One of them is on the main page but I added the other one to my queue. In case you’re wondering, the first is “Cooked” and the other is “I’ll Have What Phil’s Having”. The former inspired her to bake bread today. The girl does love to putter in the kitchen.
It’s less than a half hour until the next debate. This one is with Bernie and Hillary so I doubt there will be any comparing sizes of body parts. I asked Cuz if she’d watched the one the other night and she said she started but was soon turned off by the Three Bullies and quit. So many people are coming out against Trump, it’s amazing. Glenn Beck said, “If you look what is happening with Donald Trump and his playing to the lowest common denominator and the anger in us. You know, Adolf Hitler — we all look at Adolf Hitler in 1940. We should look at him in 1929. He was the kind of funny, character that said the things that people were thinking.” You can read the rest of the interview here.
“We are living, we are dwelling in a grand and awful time.” The only thing that comforts me is knowing that, ultimately, God is in control.
