For several months, I saw related things everywhere. Frozen songs, dolls, trailers, what have you. I haven’t seen it. I have no desire to see it. I can experience frozen without paying to do it.
I’m getting a little ahead of myself, though. I need to be writing about yesterday.
Cuz came and brought the Catz’ food, the House Sitter and the House Sitter’s computer. I was in the process of eating breakfast. (It was late because I’d done all of my “bending down” duties before I had food in my stomach for the reflux to throw back at me.) I’d try to help the HS while going back and forth for bites. I wish she had a little more self-confidence in her abilities. There was one thing I inadvertently taught her and that was how to search her email. She played with that for a bit and was very pleased.
There was a program I was going to install but, try as I might, I couldn’t find it anywhere. In the process, though, I found a couple of things I’d been looking for so all was not lost.
After they left, I got busy on other things, like finishing breakfast. Cuz brought me another carton of Silk pumpkin spice so I went ahead and opened it to wash down my vitamins.
It was earlier to bed last night and I slept well. The timer went off about 7 a.m. and I was up and at the church before song service was to begin. The sanctuary was cold. I had been under the impression the thermostat was programmable but I guess not. At least, it wasn’t programmed to come on to get the place warm for Sabbath School. I’d almost left my coat at home since I wasn’t going to be outside that much but I was glad I took it. When I wasn’t at the organ, I used it for a blanket.
In spite of having my coat, I was cold. One of the deacons who has a metabolism more like mine turned the heat up a notch or two. Didn’t matter. When I got home, my feet were like two chunks of ice in spite of having on two pairs of socks. Even now, they aren’t completely warmed up.
This afternoon, I turned on the heat in the bathroom so I think I’ll go soak in the tub and get good and warm before I go to bed.
The Catz have been fed and so have I. The rain has been raining and the temperature is holding steady. Tomorrow night promises a plunge below 20 degrees. It’s January. No surprises there.
