Do I HAVE To?

Well, this is a time I could use the notice Cuz was talking about. You know, the one when I either don’t want to, can’t or simply don’t post. Anyway. I don’t have anything like that. Yet. Just wait. It may be in the offing.

I haven’t done anything earthshaking today. Crawling out before 8 and taking my morning meds was about as notable as it gets. I turned up the heat and got under the cover to keep warm. It was so nice and comfy, I dropped off again and had a nightmare. I was evidently a teacher employed in the lower grades. The 20 or so children might as well been 200. All of them decided they needed to go to the bathroom at the same time and I was gathering up wet underdrawers to spread out somewhere to dry. Many of the parents were there and expressed their disapproval of my handling of the situation. I was ever so grateful to wake up and find it was all a plot of my twisted mind when I’m unconscious.

As usual, my two sisters have worked circles around me. Cuz was over, though, and she hasn’t felt well at all today. In spite of that, she did laundry. I won’t do mine until tomorrow.

One of my sisters emailed that Nordstrom isn’t decorating for Christmas until after Thanksgiving. That’s a refreshing thought. I looked it up and found that it’s been their policy for the 100 years it’s been in existence.

Day two on the Nexium hasn’t seen any improvement. I’ll give it the three weeks and go from there. If it doesn’t get better, I’ll go back to my one a day Prilosec.

Last night, there were lightning bolts shooting out of clouds on the forecast for today but there’s been lots of sun. The wind picked up so it makes 50 degrees seem colder.

My fourth of four 150 watt bulbs burned out this evening. I bought them in April so that makes each one average 1.75 months. You can bet your boots I won’t be buying any more of them.

Don’t you wonder sometimes what inspires such crazy far-out dreams? I do. I suppose no one is exempt from having them, and they can be downright entertaining.

At that hour, I know it isn’t something I ate and there’s a difference between entertaining and terrifying.
