Last night, I started the Windows 10 upgrade process on my netbook. I turned off the lights and went to bed when it read 26% complete. I hadn’t been watching it, anyway. It didn’t need me to monitor what it was doing for it to work.
This morning, I did what I needed to do to get the final setup done and went about my business. I had emails alerting me to the latest grocery ads from ALDI and Publix. The latter didn’t have anything I was interested in but ALDI was another matter. I did a print screen and asked Greenshot to send it directly to the printer. It had worked the other day but, this morning, I got an error. Windows 10 on my netbook had lost my setup for printer sharing.
For hours, I tried to get it to work with no luck. I finally gave up and emailed the screenshot to my gmail address and printed it off that way. There’s more ways to skin a cat…
Speaking of cats, the other day, Cuz told me the female cat at the other house has had four kittens. There are two adults and four kittens there and five adults and three kittens here. That’s a total of 14 felines. I’m glad I don’t have to feed them all.
Let’s return to today. I took an hour out of my busy (?) schedule and listened in on a webinar hosted by the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation. There was a lot of discussion about how the guidelines for physicians came about and I had no interest in that. Then they got to the meat of the matter. Pirfenidone and nintedanib were discussed briefly but nothing was said about the enormous cost. The only thing said about NAC is pretty much what the pulmonologist has told me. It helps about as much as not taking it but it doesn’t hurt. It’s an hour I’ll never get back.
Cuz came over a couple of times. She’d been to pick okra and offered me some more. I still have one more meal left of what I cooked the other day and some in the bag that she brought me. I hope it’s still good. She said she’d come over three times yesterday to find the door locked so she didn’t bother me. I told her it was just habit. She should’ve knocked or rung the doorbell.
The sun shone brightly this afternoon but it’s back to rain tonight. Good sleeping weather.
