A Most Unusual Day

Surprisingly, the rain continued a lot of the night. There was a thick layer of clouds this morning that made it darker than most so I overslept.

It’s been quiet all day today. I’d thought that Cuz would be over sometime but she wasn’t and I didn’t hear from her. As rough as she felt yesterday, I didn’t want to disturb her so I didn’t call or knock on their door. I just hope she’s okay.

Early (by the current standards), the phone rang and it was the pre-testing nurse getting all of my info for my procedure next week. She said she would email me the instructions. When I got them, I forwarded them on to Cuz since she will be my driver.

Today would have been my 43rd anniversary of being married to DH if he were still around. I celebrated by putting $10 on my T-Mobile account to keep it active for another year.

About the most exciting thing that happened was my putting the food scraps in the compost bucket without making it overflow. At least it isn’t stinking up the house. Yet.

The a/c has been off a lot of today. It’s been very cool outside. Whenever I’ve checked the temp, it’s been 69 degrees. It’s 75 where I’m sitting.

I hear the debate is on but I can’t watch it even if I wanted to. The live streaming online is only for those who have a subscription and I don’t have cable or the Dish or any other way to get it on my TV. I’m blessed? I think so. My sister reminded our other sister and me that our aunt used to say, “I hope they all get beat!”

I’m yawning and I believe the time has come for me to say good night and God bless us everyone.

We now have definitive proof that God has a sense humor. The 2016 Presidential candidates are a joke.

And that’s just from one side of the spectrum.

It’s sad when we have to vote against someone instead of really wanting to vote for someone.
Maybe it will look better when we are closer to voting time.

We can hope. A writer of satire said that a viewer poll of the Republican debate had 25% undecided and 75% unconscious.
