Sad News

I had strange dreams much of last night. It was warmer than usual in the room and I was a bit restless. Hopefully, tonight will be better.

My walk to the mailbox netted me nothing. That’s fine with me. I hate junk mail. I cleaned some out of the car and trashed it.

Cuz came over this morning and visited for a while. This was their last day here so they left after she came over to say goodbye. I’m sure they fed the Catz because I haven’t seen hide nor hair of them. I know they got the last of the leftover milk, anyway.

I planned to make some super duper gut bombs today but the mushrooms had gone south. So much for that.

Late this afternoon, I saw messages of condolence on some of my friends’ timelines. I had an idea of what might have happened but none of the messages were specific. I emailed the former bulletin secretary but didn’t hear back. Then my friend’s sister sent me a private message to let me know her brother-in-law had passed away. I knew he had heart problems but he was doing better. They had moved to Hawaii several years ago and they were both loving it. It’s been quite a shock to everyone. He was younger than me. One never knows, does one?

I’ve been fielding messages on Facebook and by phone. I sent out an email and posted it on my church group. I’ve done all I know to do.

Now I need to upload the bulletin. I’m used to it coming via Word document so I could merge the announcements with the bulletin but this time it came as a pdf. Guess I’ll send it as it is.

A good night to everyone and prayers for your safety and comfort.

Sorry to hear of the death! I know as we get older, they will be more and more frequent. And one day it will be our turn. On that happy note, I’ll say have a good night!

No one is immortal but I don’t like to think about it, anyway.
