No Ray of Sunshine

There was no pounding on the roof last night but it’s been completely cloudy all day. The temperatures have been cool, too. It’s 65 outside now and sure to get lower. The rain has fallen off and on but it’s mostly been soft and gentle with only one downpour that I know of.

My activities haven’t been noteworthy—just the routine kind. There’s nothing out of the ordinary to report.

I’ve been kept busy feeding Catz and Kittenz. I was thinking that only one of the Kittenz had shown up for a couple of days when here came the other two.

The bulletin secretary sent the file late this evening so it won’t get published until tomorrow. At least it’s all there. She had said last week’s was her swan song but I guess she was prevailed upon to do it one more week before turning it over to the new secretary. Here’s hoping the transition will be a smooth one.

The weather map is pretty much devoid of anything headed this way even though there’s a 70% chance of rain tonight. It’s 80% tomorrow. Hopefully, I’ll be able to go to town without getting soaked one of these days. I printed off ads from ALDI and Publix for that purpose. Thankfully, ALDI has the same produce on sale this week as it had last so I won’t be missing out.

So nice to know your life has become more normal now, and you can plan on a town trip just the way you used to. So thankful!

Me, too. I can plan but I won’t go when there’s a danger of flooding.
