Last night was terrible. My tremors went into high gear and kept me awake practically all night. My right leg would NOT stay still. Every few seconds, the calf muscle would contract. I finally got a bit of relief from that by using the heating pad. Then there was the itching. That was taken care of by a bath in the wee hours. I probably slept all of an hour. I’ve been pretty wiped out today.
DS1 called me early and roused me out of somewhat of a sleep. He couldn’t believe I hadn’t told him about the passing of his uncle but, to be perfectly honest, it never occurred to me. We communicate so little these days, I didn’t once think about it.
When DD called, we talked for less than 15 minutes. I really do need to get a phone that will accommodate a headset. Talking for very long is exhausting. Another reason to prefer email.
I was late getting on the computer and had a message from my nurse friend. She was home and wanted to know if we should get together today for my shot. After playing tag for a bit, she said she’d come on over. While she was here, she looked over the report from the rheumatologist and was impressed with my blood work. What impressed me is that the doctor didn’t have one of the staff call me to tell me everything was fine. I got all of the reports plus there was a summary at the end. I wish all doctors would do that. The shot did perk me up a bit but I’m still worn out from my night of woe.
The helps 1-10 were ready so I got them done and uploaded to the server. I’m not doing nearly as much on the lessons this coming quarter. Actually, I didn’t do nearly as much on the current one.
Today has been a hot one. I walked out to the mailbox and got yesterday’s junk. When I got back in the house, I realized I hadn’t gotten short of breath or coughed.
It’s about that time again. I certainly hope tonight is a better night.
