A Summer Pattern

It got so cool in here last night, I had to get up and turn everything but the ceiling fan off. Right now, it and the EcoBreeze are the only things going and it’s 74. I did sleep well but I’ve been yawning a lot this evening and will probably succumb soon.

The BSOD was almost certainly caused by the Windows 10 verifier. Here’s what it says:

Windows 10

Now, let me get this straight. My computer can be upgraded but my display won’t work right. Yeah. Great. I could hear but I couldn’t see. I tried updating my driver but, according to Windows Update, I have the most current one. Oh joy. Well, looks as though I’ll be keeping 7 unless ASUS comes up with a driver that will work with 10.

Cuz came in and got me earlier this afternoon and showed me the window coverings she’d made for the lean-to next to the garage. They’re really neat. She’s painted them with different scenes and they’re polyurethaned so they won’t degrade in the weather.

She had me go in the house and try to help her decide how she’s going to remodel the kitchen. There are pros and cons for either of her ideas.

After that, we spent some time in the yard with her pulling weeds. I pulled up a couple of black walnut trees. If I let every one of them grow, they’d soon take over and I’d be living in a forest of them.

I came on in the house and that’s where I’ve been since. It started raining a couple minutes later. Cuz came over not long before dark and visited. While she was here, a downpour came and pounded the roof. I’m so thankful I don’t have to be concerned about leaks.

My niece just posted on my wall that my brother-in-law isn’t doing well and will probably be transferred to hospice soon. It’s so sad. He’s been in a nursing home for just a short while. She said he has difficulty breathing and another niece emailed that he has early pneumonia. Life is fragile. He’s the last of the brothers-in-law.

Here I go, yawning again. I think I’m going to give it up and go to bed soon. Good night.

Is there anything your neighbor cannot do? Everyone should have such a neighbor, and also a neighbor like you. That should cover just about everything.

If she doesn’t know how to do something, she figures it out. Youtube is a great resource.
