Running in Place

My latest wedge almost ended up on the floor last night. It was hanging off the foot of the bed when I got up. I repositioned it and made the bed as well as it can be made these days. When it’s all done, it looks like there’s an oddly shaped person under the cover. Gone are the days when I had a pretty bed.

Red_Eyes_CrossedI’ve spent hours taking out coding it had taken hours for me to put in. With four lessons still not done, the editor told me to leave the coding in them and she’d fix it on the blog side if necessary. The silver lining is that it will be easier to do the lessons without it come second quarter. That’s after coding references for most of three years. When I got lesson 9 done, I hung it up for the day. I’m just about exactly where I was this time yesterday.

I’d called about my prescription this morning and the recording said the pharmacist wanted to talk to me so I held until it rang through. The only news was that they needed a new prescription and the person I talked to didn’t seem thrilled at being summoned. I’m sure they wish the recording didn’t forward the call to them. This afternoon, I called for a status and it’s ready to be picked up. Too late to go. Tomorrow is supposed to be somewhat “warmer” than it was today (34° here). The prediction is 48° in the valley. The low for Wednesday night has been amended to 9°. Hopefully, it will only come up from there.

The Computer Owner called and my phone rang twice. When I answered, no one was there. I emailed one of my friends and asked for the CO’s cell phone number. The phone rang again and nothing. I texted her when I got the right number but didn’t get a text back. Not surprisingly, the doorbell rang. I met her at the door with her computer. After making sure everything was there that she needed, she was on her way.

My sister emailed last night that her grandson had worked on her ‘puter and it’s all better now. I’m so glad! I don’t think we would have ever been successful at getting everything set up on her end for me to remote in.

DS1 had wondered if the inhalerI fixed for him could be “recharged”. We looked and it didn’t seem we’d be able to get the stopper out. This evening, I decided I’d try with mine and I did it. I put a few more drops in and I think I might have overdone it with the Frankincense. The stopper is back in and as secure as ever.

Well, this little girl is tired and sleepy. It’s time to call it a day. I wonder what tonight’s dreams will be?

I had considered enduring the problems with the computer until my next trip over that way, and I don’t know when that will be – especially considering this unpredictable weather!

Winter isn’t good traveling weather. You should familiarize yourself with Remote Assistance so we could use it if it’s ever needed.
