If you recall (like I do), that’s what they call ’em in Nebraska. And, BOY! Did they get it wrong this time. I don’t think it rained but there was no parting of the clouds to let the sun through, either. It was supposed to be partly cloudy but it was completely cloudy at my house. I was hoping it would clear off and dry up enough for the apples to be picked and the potatoes dug but I’d be surprised if either one happened.
Cuz sent me a private message this morning. Her printer still wouldn’t print and the one hooked up to her old laptop refused, as well. I told her I’d come over after I ate breakfast but I lied. I drank my water and my figwort tea (supposed to be good for the lungs) and set out.
I’d suggested she could move the printer in where she had the notebook and hook it up via printer cable. She’d tried with no luck. At my request, she got the installation disk and I set to work. I got the driver installed for the direct connection and it printed. Refusing more tomatoes (I still have a few), I came home.
As for the rest of the day, nothing notable happened. Twinkle’s had some lap time and the sun hid itself.
