Cooling Off

Not much but every degree helps to make a difference. It was 80 in my room when I went to bed last night and 77 when I got up. The coolness of my waterbed made it necessary to have one thin blanket on top of my Earthing Bag. Tonight should be even cooler. It’s amazing how much the screens block air flow. They don’t even seem to BE there in the winter!

This morning, Cuz told me she’d been on her computer and it seemed fine. I went over and installed SpyBot as an extra precaution, ran MalwareBytes and left SpyBot scanning her system. Somehow, some way, conduit search seems to always end up on her computer. Hopefully, MalwareBytes got rid of it.

DD was at her boyfriend’s mini family reunion when she called today. We talked for about half an hour when she had to sign off and go eat. Later, I had a prolonged conversation with DS1. He was wanting to know where the old youth camp was so I looked it up and sent him a link.

I didn’t get as much done as I would have liked. I’m sure it was my own fault. It’s almost always never anyone else’s.

Scanning my credit card history this evening turned up nothing that didn’t belong there. I re-enrolled in automatic payments. The time before this one, I didn’t have to. Hopefully, I won’t need to do it again.

Twinkle is LOOKING at me so that means her food dish needs attention. Mine has already been filled and emptied as many times as it was supposed to be. I’m through.

Maybe ‘third times the charm’ will apply to your card situation and now it will be solved. 🙂 The last few days and nights have been more average temps and humidity for August. I was getting spoiled to the milder temps. 😉 Have you tried using your redneck air conditioner in your bedroom in the evenings?

      I hope you’re right.

The redneck a/c works better in theory than in practice, I’m afraid. The cooler is quite large so it would take a lot more ice than I can manage to cool things down. Plus, the metal tends to make it very noisy.

I have a plain ol’ table fan that I use at night if I need to cool things off. Cheaper than running the a/c! The nights are pretty cool right now, low 60’s or high 50’s, but it can get stuffy.

I have a stand fan in addition to the ceiling fan in the living room, the EcoBreeze in the dining room window, a clip fan in DD’s room (that’s where I keep some of my fresh produce), a clip fan in the kitchen and a table fan in my bedroom. Cuz has offered me another fan or two. I have two O2 Cool fans that have given up the ghost. They’re neat but not very durable.
