Today has been much cooler than the past few. Makes life more pleasant. When I went to feed the critters this afternoon, a breeze that was almost a wind was blowing. It even had a bit of a chill in it. It will prove to be short-lived, though, if the weather guessers are right. By Sunday, it’s supposed to be back in the 90s.

4thofjuly_15 My electric/water bill came. It’s $76.44 for the power alone. Divide that by the kwh used and it comes up $0.121333 and on and on. However, the web site shows the rate as of June 1, 2014, to be $0.1011. Prior to that, it was $0.09656. Something doesn’t seem right somewhere.

Today was my granddaughter’s 19th. Amazon notified me that her gift certificate had been picked up. At least I know it got there okay unless DS1 decided to take it over. I don’t have her email address so I had to send it to his.

I’ve gotten more done today. There’s to be a church picnic in the park tomorrow and I’ve been invited to my cousin’s annual bash. I haven’t made a decision yet about either one.

Twinkle is lurking. I think she wants something to eat. I’ve already been there, done that.

Last night, I was in bed a full 30 minutes earlier than the night before. Maybe I can beat that tonight.

Happy Independence Day Eve, everyone!

My celebration will be Sunday. I do have the flag flying on the front of my house.
