The last time I changed the batteries in my little weather stations, I failed to turn Daylight Saving Time off. This afternoon, I glanced at the one in the kitchen and was surprised that it was as early as it showed. Later, it dawned on me that they had both done the “fall back” trick and my clocks had changed without me. An alarm clock that has a mind of its own and now this. What next? I turned DST off on both and corrected the time zone. The clocks on my netbook and notebook are both okay so that should be it for traitors.

To say I’ve felt “blah” today would be an exaggeration. I haven’t felt even that good. When my cousin called to yell for help to get into her house (her husband had taken the wrong key when they went out), I was still in my robe. That was embarrassing. Later on, I went over to help her with some charts but I did pull on some sweats first. She’d expected me to show up not dressed yet. It was her birthday so she would have been within her rights to take the day off. Not so much for me.

When I got home, I was plumb tuckered out. I’ve gotten next to nothing done today. Part of that might be because I’ve been putting soy “nog” in my Dandy Blend. I’m going to have to ration myself. My thyroid isn’t happy if I have much soy at all.

DD hasn’t called so I guess she couldn’t get a signal at the tiny house where she was staying. It will be interesting to find out how her outing went. I’m not so sure I wouldn’t get claustrophobia after a while.

Yesterday, I found out there were major problems with the current and next week’s lessons. I notified the editor and the HTML expert but nothing had changed by this morning. I sat me down and corrected all the errors and reported the same. The editor said she would bake me some brownies (since I claimed brownie points) but the catch is I don’t get them unless I go to her house. I’m not ready for a trip to Canada. Guess I’ll do without.

I’m too anal for my own good. I took a break from blogging and fixed next week’s lesson. The rest better be okay.

Twinkle is parked on my lap. I’ll have to disturb her so I can go to bed. It sounded like a mouse was trying to get in a few minutes ago and she was intent on guarding the fort. The noise has died down and so has her interest.

My cousin caught one of the kittens spraying today so that’s one male, at least. She has an appointment in a month to take the five in to be spayed/neutered. It’s my opinion she should have made it for all six. If Six turns out to be a female…

It will be cold in my bedroom again. It was 36 outside when I got up this morning. I didn’t check to see what it was inside. I just got outta there and into the warmer part of the house.

Sounds like we had the same ailment, although I don’t think so.
Hope today is better for both of us.

It was for me. The weather at my house doesn’t help.
