Week 8, Day 6

It’s another unintentional late night. It seems to be the rule rather than the exception. I have the best intentions but they don’t pan out.

Yep. The water bottle isn’t ideal for sleeping. And don’t give me advice. It just gets in the way. If my bed wasn’t warm it would be different but it is and I don’t need the hot water bottle to make it warmer. I need sleep.

Even though I didn’t get a lot done, today has been my best day so far and it’s my Eight Week Eve. There are 2.75 miles on my pedometer. I had to go outside in the gloom and mist several times and here the kittens would come! My cousin pointed out the other day that Six is getting bolder. I don’t think that was him/her out there today but I was swarmed.

Twinkle keeps trying to claim my chair as her own. When I sat down, I left enough room for her to be behind me but I guess she felt claustrophobic. She’s moved back to her chair.

Last night, I coughed after I went to bed and I was somewhat tempted to get up and take some cough medicine. I didn’t, the cough calmed down, and except for a couple of bathroom breaks, I slept well.

The cold has eased off which is a blessing. Even though my little weather clock in the kitchen had a smiley face for the level of humidity, I put a pan of water on the stove. That could be one reason I’ve felt better.

My niece posted a riddle. I bit and got it wrong so my profile picture is that of a jellyfish. My sister got it wrong, too. She’s using the excuse that she doesn’t know how to change her picture. Unless I’m totally wrong, she’s smart enough to figure it out.

Eight weeks ago tonight, I still had a gallbladder. Thank the Lord, I don’t any more!
