Yesterday’s coughing episode wore me out. I didn’t wake until after daylight and lay in bed not wanting to get up. Forcing myself to crawl out, I reluctantly faced the day.
It had rained a half inch during the night and the air was cool. I’ve worn an extra layer today. Cold weather is not something I’m anticipating with pleasure. I’d like to take my lungs to the tropics.
Twinkle’s warming pad came as scheduled. She acted kind of unsettled when I moved the dead heating pad off the chair. I patted and patted the warming pad. Finally, she went to the chair, smelled it, thoroughly inspected it and, after a long time, settled down.
She let me know she didn’t like the bright light in her eyes. Maybe I should call her Gizmo?
I’ve gotten a few things accomplished but not nearly enough. This woman’s work will never be done for sure, for sure.
I’m with Twinkle, no bright lights, and plenty of warmth please!
She has the misfortune of having her chair right beside my reading lamp. It’s 60 in here this morning.
