Another Day

It wasn’t totally unproductive but I didn’t get much accomplished, either.

I took a bath and did a load of laundry. While I was outside looking for figs (I found two—they are definitely on the wane), one of the cats pooped in my grow box. No shovel was in sight so I got a hoe and made three trips to dispose of the mess. Thing is, that’s probably not the only poo in the now cat box. I don’t know how to keep them out and I certainly don’t want to eat food grown in feline fecal material. What to do??

In the daytime, I try not to sleep. I want to get up and get things done but it’s like I’m super-glued to the chair. I dozed off today for what should have been a power nap but I didn’t get any power from it. I need a good shot of energy.

After I spent a couple of hours working on the templates for the first quarter 2014, the editor seems to want both versions of the lessons optimized for mobile devices. I hope I don’t have to go back and do a lot over.

Twinkle knocked her heating pad off the chair. She acted a bit alarmed but she’s settled down. Guess I should pick it up for her since she hasn’t given any indication she’s going to do it.

It seems I am sleepy all the time. I’m going to go on to bed and hope I wake refreshed for a change.

Try putting wire netting over the grow box. That kept the animals out of our muscadines.

I’m wondering if you should contact your doctor and find out if your lack of energy is normal after the surgery, or if something else might need to be addressed.

And how would I get to the grow box?

The doctor told me it would take six to eight weeks post-surgery before I’d feel reasonably good and up to a year to completely heal.
